Just six blocks from City Avenue, you'll discover a remarkable facility, The Merion Tribute House. Inside and out, The Merion Tribute House reflects the beauty of the arts and crafts tradition of the early 20th century. At every turn, you will find craftsman ship to admire. Wood-beamed ceilings, slate floors, a magnificent, walk-in fireplace. And our enchanting wedding balcony, perfect for the toss of the bridal bouquet.

Weddings at The Merion Tribute House
Wedding belong to a long and cherished tradition at the Merion Tribute House. Bridal couples have walked through these arches to greet their guests and celebrate with friends and family since 1924. The balcony is a favorite place for brides to toss their bouquets and for couples to pose for pictures.

Receptions
The Tribute House has an open floor plan that allows people to mingle while retaining the intimate atmosphere of a private home. Guests assemble for cocktails in three rooms that flow into one another: the Legion Room, Lounge and Memorial Hall. There is a spacious flagstone terrace connected to both the Lounge and Hall. Oak doors open to reveal a ballroom set for 70 to 175 people, a band or DJ and a dance floor - altogether in one room.

Ceremonies
For those who choose to have a ceremony as well as a reception, the Merion Tribute House offers two choices: the front lawn near the terrace at a specified site or the ballroom setup auditorium style with an aisle. During the spring, summer and fall seasons the ceremony since our fee is set for five hours. We provide the white outdoor chairs.

Directions to the Merion Tribute House
Schuylkill Expressway (76) to City Ave. Exit (rt. 1 South), continue South on City Avenue 2.5 miles to E. Wynnewood Rd. Turn right on E. Wynnewood Rd., follow 0.5 miles (6 blocks) to Hazelhurst Ave. Turn right on Hazelhurst Ave., go 3.5 blocks. The Merion Tribute House will be on your left.

From South Jersey:
Cross over Benjamin Franklin Bridge, take 676 (Vine St. Expressway) to 76 West. Exit at City Avenue and follow directions listed above.

From New York:
NJ Turnpike S to exit 6 of PA Turnpike. Get off at Mid County exit 25-A (Rt. 476) and take Rt 476 to Exit 16 (a short distance) to Rt. 76 East towards Philadelphia. Exit at City Avenue and follow directions listed above.
